The Ancient Celtic Church is part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Our services are open to all people who wish to participate in our services in a benevolent manner. We belong to the family of Celtic Churches with whom we are not necessarily always formally concordant on intercommunion, but with whom we are connected on the human level and in Celtic-Christian spirituality. With the Reformed Celtic Church we are on friendly terms after our church has emerged from the Reformed Celtic Church in Germany. The spirituality of the Celtic Apostolic Church, another mother church, lives on through us after it is no longer active in its home country of Scotland. We are on friendly terms with the Keltische Kirche in Deutschland (Celtic Church in Germany).
The Ancient Celtic Church (Alt-Keltische Kirche) is a member of the Ecumenical Network Climate Justice in Germany.
The Celtic Episcopal community Schola Via Nova was founded in 2001 on the initiative of Auxiliary Bishop Franciscus Gruijters and is one of the roots of the Ancient Celtic Church in Germany. The community celebrates its twentieth anniversary in 2021 with the admission of further members.
Ecumenical relations also exist with the
Ecclesia Apostolica Militiae Christi in Germany.
